MARIJKE EVERTS

Exploring home and identity in art

The intention of my work is to reflect on and bring together my African and European heritage in my own language. This allows me to explore the idea of home that lives in my mind. I use art as a way of creating a dialogue around what that means, to live in spaces between cultures.
